ShaShib Flying Academy was established in 2002 and is located in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. It is part of the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions and offers aviation related training courses. It is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation [DGCA], Ministry of Civil Aviation Department, and Govt. of India.

The Sha Shib Flying Academy Courses are for students that are interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry. Admissions will be based on past academic merit, scores in the qualifying exam and the medical test conducted by the DGCA. The faculty is experienced and the curriculum is designed in line with the DGCA.

The Institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities that are conducive for the best teaching-learning environment. Moreover, the students get practical hands-on experience which is necessary for the aviation industry. SFA Guna also has a fleet of Thorp T211 and Cessna 172s.

The institute has good relations with organizations in the aviation industry; therefore, the students get placement opportunities in well-reputed companies.

ShaShib Flying Academy, [SFA] Guna Eligibility Criteria:

Course	Eligibility
Assistant Flight Instructor	Candidates should have CPL/ FRTOL/ RTR with 200 hours as PIC. They should be medically fit as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should be proficient in English. They should pass an oral exam in the following subjects, conducted by the DGCA: Mechanics of Flight, Methods & Techniques of Flying Instructions, and Flight Instruments.
Commercial Pilot License	Candidates should have completed their 10+2 in Physics and Maths. They should be medically fit [class 2] as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should be proficient in English. They should have at least 200 hours of flying. Candidates should have passed in the DGCA exam which includes Air Regulation, Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Tech. General & Specific.
Instrument Rating	Candidates should have passed the DGCA exam. They should be medically fit [class 1] as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should be proficient in English. Should have no less than 100 hours of PIC including 50 hours x-cty, not less than 100 NM. Candidates should also have 40 hours instrument [20 hours of aircraft + 20 hours approved Sim] for at least 6 months.
Multi-Engine Rating	Candidates should have a valid pilot license. They should be medically fit [class 1] as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should have passed a written examination in Aircraft Engine. A language proficiency test, which costs 15,000, will also have to be taken.
Private Pilot License	Candidates should have passed 10th. They should be medically fit [class 2] as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should be proficient in English. They should have not less than 40 hours of training.
Private Pilot License [Night Rating]	They should be medically fit [class 2] as prescribed by the DGCA. Candidates should have cleared all DGCA exams. They should have no less than 50 hours PIC including 10 take-offs and landing at night.

ShaShib Flying Academy, [SFA] Guna Admissions:

Admission will be based on past academic merit.
A language proficiency test, which costs 15,000 INR will also have to be taken.
Candidates will also have to go through a medical exam before admission by a Doctor.
Admission can be done by visiting the campus.

ShaShib Flying Academy, [SFA] Guna Hostel Details:

SFA has four hostels including an exclusive girls hostel.
There is accommodation for 100 students.
There is a central dining facility for the residents.
The hostels are equipped with the latest amenities.
