Entrance Exams & Admissions : My college named Sethu Institute of Technology. It is actually located at Pullur, kariapatti taluk, Virudhunagar District, Tamilnadu. It is one of the Autonomous College Tamilnadu. The eligibility criteria for admission is, the candidate should complete his/her secondary school level with leading score on board/CBSE exams. There are two way of procedure to the admission in my college. One is, the candidate with merit and the second one is, the candidate who is very eager to join directly. According to Tamilnadu government law, the entrance examination for Engineering is stopped. Instead of Entrance Exam, The Anna University( the board of affiliation which controls all engineering colleges in Tamilnadu) conducting counselling based on students marks every year. The typical cut off my course is 172 out of 200. The cut off for Sethu Institute of Technology is increasing consistently every year.

Placements & Internships : I have done an internship in I2soft tech solution in Bangalore with the stipend of INR 5000 per month. Key companies who are visiting my college are, TCS, Zoho corp, CSS Corp, Huindai, Renault Nission. Average Salary for candidate is INR 15000 per month and highest salary is in laks. My senior who studied in my college gave good feedback about the college. So that i chose Sethu Institute of Technology as my future builder.

Academics & Faculty : College starts by 9.15am sharply and complete by 4.30pm. Afternoon 1.15 to 2.00 is lunch timing. And morning evening tea break. The faculties who teach the students are well knowledged and skilled persons. The students give their best in exams and other college competitions by the quality of teaching and method of handling the students. The overall experience of the college is one of the best in India.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels. One for boys hostel and another one is girls hostel. The hostel fee is very much convenient to pay to compare with other colleges. The foods are prepared carefully as the food should be healthy and tasty. The college charged less amount for food.

Clubs & Associations : NSS, NCC, Green House clubs, Alumni Association are available on my college campus. College Annual day, Tech Seminar and symposium, and the special day of my college are Pongal and Ramjan are celebrated department Wise. Simply the college life is heaven in my life.
