INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

I am a Nagpur residential so I don't have information about hostel fees but hostels are available for studenta who come from outside everytime. Other expenses are the travelling charges which can differ if used college bus it starts from 17k-21k depending on the distance from your area to college. Food rates are very affordable and the quantity is also good. If one wants to eat food everyday in college the best option is the thali worth Rs 40/- each. Other options rather than canteen are the anna and the ccd in our college. Classrooms are spacious and each classroom rather the whole campus is under cctv surveillance. Ventilation is proper. Solar power is used in our college. Infrastructure is built up very systematically with lots of greenery to have good natural environment. Wifi is provided all over the campus. Library facility is also the best facility for students to issue books either you can pay 5000 of 4 years and you'll get books required for each semester or you can issue books free of cost but only 3 books can be issued if 4th book is needed then you have to return 1 of the 3 books.

No hostel, PG's available there which cost you INR 4000-5000 per month. Food is good with different varieties like south Indian, coffee express, junk food at decent price. Quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi and other key infrastructure Classrooms are big with full of projector and speakers installed, Labs is also good with all mandatory equipment, Wifi is not available in some places but the main portion is covered in Wifi zone , Stationary is there so you no need to go anywhere for any important work, college have there owned basketball, cricket, football Cort, swimming pool .

College does not have hostel facility. The food provided in the canteen is of good quality. Classrooms are well lit and spacious.

Facilities :-

Library

The S.B.J.I.T.M.R library is fully computerized. Facilities like open access, individual and general reading, books as per syllabus, rare reference books, ebooks ,CDs and floppies,subscription of national and international journals from all over world including famous publishers, E-Journals, newspapers, periodicals, magazines etc are available for the students as well as the faculties. .

All library activities are automated with the help of Library Software with Laser Bar-code Scanner .SMS facility is available for re-issue of books. Students can search their books by using OPAC ( Online Public Access Catalog) .For the benefit of the students, management has been started Book Bank facility for all the student.

NPTEL ( National Programme on Technology Enhance Learning) has also started for the students as well as the faculties.In this program,exposure to the educational information about various IIT`s for science and engineering take place which has been made mandatory by AICTE.

Transportation

The institute provides bus facility for the convenience of students and staff at a nominal fee. A fleet of 15 buses is maintained by the institute from all parts of Nagpur. The facility is also extended for industrial visits, picnics and survey camps. An yearly pass can be obtained from the college office for convenience.

Computer Lab

The college has a well equipped Centralized Wi-Fi Computer Hall with the state of the art hardware and software. .

The Computer Hall has the following facilities:

150 P-IV machines with 17 inch TFT monitors.
Internet connectivity through 2 Mbps leased line with Wi-Fi..
Seperate internet lab for students
Advanced computing lab with advanced software like MATLAB, Rational Suite Enterprise, etc..
