Available College Facilities

The campus of the college is extended in an area of 40 acre on the Chennai – Madurai Expressway at Panjappur. College has finest infrastructure amenities for its students. The main block of the college, which they call as “SECRETARY K.SANTHANAM BLOCK” has three floors covering an area of 77,000 sq. Ft. This area comprises class rooms, tutorial rooms, seminar halls, laboratories for the Electrical Department, Electronics and Communication Department and Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department. College has a well furnished canteen covering an area of 8,350 sq. Ft with separate dining halls for boys and girls, security room, library, which is set up in Poojyasri Rajaji Block. These amenities make learning conducive for learners and make them maven in their respective field.

Hostel

College has separate hostel facilities for both boys & girls. The boy’s hostel of the college is extended in an area of 40,400 sq. The hostel of the college is well kit out with contemporary amenities. Here are some of the amenities, which SCE imparts for its learners:

Mini computer center with 10 Mbps internet connectivity and Wi-Fi connectivity
24-Hour all round security service to ensure safety of inmates.
Pure drinking water from RO plant.
It consists of 125KVA Power Generator Facility.
The mess attached to the hostel provides quality vegetarian food.

Laboratory

College has separate labs for each department. The labs of the college assists learner in their research and projects and makes them deft for the field of engineering. College has first Year Common Course Laboratories and Mechanical Department Laboratories. The labs of the college come under the Annadurai Iyer block, which is extended in an area of 10,400 sq. Ft. College has separate computer lab, which comprises more than 640 computers and well kit out with Local Area Network (LAN) operating under Windows- 2008/2003 Novell Netware, Linux.

Library

The College central Library is a vast storehouse of knowledge with over 23,984 volumes and more than 700 regularly subscribed journals including foreign EL Online journals and more books are being added every year. The fully computerized facilities make the library procedures easy. In addition, each department has a Departmental Library to cater to the needs of the students for textbooks and reference books. Other facilities are:Fully Automated with Nirmals Library Software, Reprographic Facility, Back volumes-462, Project Reports-213.

Classroom

College has trendy air conditioned spacious classrooms, which are equipped with amenities like projector & audio-video. Every classrooms of the college has a green board or a black board with computer white board & a podium and a noticed board is also provided in every classroom.
