Library

The Institute has a spacious and well equipped library which is being run according to an open access system. It has rich collection of about 3000 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material. It is one of the important resources centers of the institute serving both Students as well as the faculty of the Institute. The library has In addition to the books from main library, some more books are issued to students from book bank also. To the students belonging to weaker section (SC/ST) some additional books are given from the Book Bank. Xeroxing facility is available to the users at very nominal rate.

Computer Centre

Computing in SGMCOE was started in a modest way with departmental and Central LANs. These are integrated through campus LAN and the Central Computer Centre supports the academic environment as Network Operations Centre, Server Space Facilitator, Internet Access Provider and Lab support. The CCC occupies the first floor of the second building in institute campus. CCC was established in 2012 as a service providing/supporting facility that augments to the computing facilities in the teaching departments.

The facility has a 7.5KVA Diesel generator and one 6KVA online UPS systems providing backup power during the changeover. The recently established 33KV electrical substation is expected to improve the reliability of electricity and hence that of the network.

CCC is headed by Prof. Swapnil M. Jawahire, from the CS department. CCC has the One Assistant Mechanic, One Peon permanent staff associated to it. CCC is kept open on almost all days at least for one shift. CCC takes all possible steps in its capacity to make the network accessible round--the--clock. Efforts are being made to improve the reliability to meet the expectations of the user--base.

Wi Fi

College is having a 4 Mbps Internet connection, locally networked and connected through Wi-Fi also to the central server are available for students for their project work and preparing seminar presentations. It also access to e-books, study materials, previous question papers daily circulars, etc. through the college Local Area Network. Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab, providing high speed of connectivity the student can surf the net together unlimited information.

Wi-Fi facility in the Institution Campus is a milestone in the history of this institution as it puts the college on the road to paperless administration and functioning. With this addition the college will provide internet and intranet access to all students and staff for instructional purpose on par with colleges internationally. The campus is provided with wireless access points for the students to make use of internet and intranet 24 * 7.

Transportation

A fully fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places to college campus. SGMCOE also Provides transport facilities from Gadhinglaj, Ajara, Mahagaon, Nesari and Adkur. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation at lowest rate through college & city buses. The College runs buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. Buses are well equipped with Mobile phones for the convenience of the students and staff. The transport facility remains available for any kind of emergency round-the-clock. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students & our routes are. State roadways and private buses are also available from nearby city to SGMCOE at a frequency of 20-30 minutes.

Hostel

Everybody wants to feel at home and this is especially significant when you are starting life in a new city. The college knows that settling quickly and adjusting properly where you live is very important to you. SGMCOE provides a secure, well-located, and sociable place to stay and study. One of the advantages of accommodation is the basic support which students are offered. The residence halls are designed to provide you safety. The safety measures which are facilitated to our students: Residence halls provided with network security staffs that provide you 24 hours assistance.
