Computer Science Lab

In our college, all laboratories are designed in a sophisticated manner. They are spacious and have enough resources to do the lab experiments for the students. The college is facilitated with a well-equipped, highly furnished, fully air conditioned computer lab enriched with adequate software facility.

It has Intel Pentium machines with Latest configurations and with 24 hours Internet facility. All the systems are internet connected through LAN with Administrator. Students and faculties enjoy unlimited internet access.

Class Rooms

The classrooms are spacious for the student body and provide immense natural lighting through the windows. They maintain a comfortable temperature at all times. There are vents to maintain the air circulation and ventilation. The windows are strategically placed to ensure the minimum of disturbance in the noise and distraction. The classroom safeguards the students against dust, cold, heat, humidity and rain. Class room with black board, fan, light facility and dual desk facility with good aeration and teaching aids are available for all the classes.

Library

Salem Sowdeswari College is a treasure house of knowledge & information.  In our library have all subject of books. We have books mainly in Computer, Electronics, and Textile fashion design, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Management, and Biotech etc.  It has been playing a very important role in the learning-teaching process and research activity in the College.

Internet

The College provides High Speed Broad Band Internet. The internet lab has 1 MB Bandwidth. Students and staff can access and download the required information for their studies and research work. It is boon to students, helping them gain knowledge by accessing the day- to- day updates of technological advancement and the modern trends in any field from every nook and corner of the world. It also has intranet facility.

Hostel

The college provides hostel facilities in lush green surroundings with a very pleasant natural atmosphere which is yet another home for the students. The facilities provided for the students make them feel at home during their course of staying in the hostel, which is the prime quality of the institution.
The management provides free hostel to girls which is hygienic and fully furnished. The rooms are safe, secure, clean and airy. Students enjoy delicious, quality and homely vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Menu is prepared to satisfy the taste of all students. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a different life style and involve in activities such as yoga, meditation, sports, music etc., suiting to their individual taste and preferences. 

Canteen

The Canteen is situated inside the college campus.   For students and teachers alike, the canteen is a welcome break from the routine of lessons. The homely atmosphere and aroma of delicious food permeates the air as they eat, drink and chat. It remains a focal place of the students for rest and refreshment. Cool drinks, ice creams, bakery items, lunch and hot snacks are available there at reasonable rates in a clean and pleasant ambience. Students, staff members and parents are benefitted by this service.

Auditorium
