Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from a recognized board or institution are eligible to participate in RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering admissions.
My college is a concern with only with a degree in engineering field eligibility criteria to take admission is about you have to get approx 60%marks in 12th board examination and should have to give JEE( joint entrance test ) and MHT CET(common entrance test) JEE exam basically for out of Maharashtra student. Typical cut off for my college is around min 30 in JEEMain, min 80 in MHT CET.
I took admission direct to the second year of Engineering because I have completed my Diploma. The Eligibility criteria was the aggregate marks of Diploma. The admission procedure was Centralized. I did not appear in any entrance exam to get admission to this college. Admission was based only on merit in Diploma. The typical cutoff for Computer Engineering is around 78 for Open and around 75 for OBC.
In our college, only those students are eligible to take admission who has given and passed H.S.C. exam. The candidate has to appear for MHT CET conducted by Government of Maharashtra. The average cutoff of MHT CET exam for B.E. Computer Engineering course is about 65 to 80.
Candidate must clear the MHT CET/JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th/diploma with minimum 40% of marks from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. Minimum 71% percent cutoff mark is required.
Eligibility criteria for the course was 60% aggregate in 10+2 and JEE or CET appeared with non zero score. I appeared for JEE examination and scored a 79 marks although the cutoff for this college was low as 5 marks.
I am from open category and I scored 120 marks in MHT CET and got admission in RMDSSOE with TFWS. I also appeared in JEE MAIN and scored 40 marks. More than 80 marks in MHT CET, you can get admission in RMDSSOE.
I passed my diploma from government Polytechnic Latur and on that basis, I toke admission for BE in mechanical engineering at RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering Pune. At that time cutoff was 60%.
The eligibility criteria for 1st year was MHT-CET exam which was taken by Maharashtra government. The cutoff was according to the branch you needed and also based on cast categories.
For open category, it was above 81-82 percent. So, the cut off was much better. There was not an entrance exam.
