The basic eligibility criteria is to have a vaild graduation with a minimum of 50% of marks. For admission, candidates need to clear the entrance exam conducted by the University.
There are some groups and associations that are very much active not only within the university but also outside. Clubs and groups such as the NSG have various departments such as Dance, Debate, etc. NCC troops in which students enthusiastically participate, and hackathon club. These groups and associations make social life better at the university.
The university provides great academics and faculties and has pleasant and delightful infrastructures and facilities. The university has a huge auditorium in which various seminars and workshops are hosted.
Classrooms are very spacious and comfortable with a smart class. Hostel rooms are quite commodious, in which 3-6 students can take shelter in. The best part about the university is the huge library stuffed with various literature and other coursebooks. We also have 24*7 available medical facilities, sports and gym complex, computer labs, etc.
The academics and faculties of the university are full of knowledge and skills. The faculties, as well as non-faculty members, are qualified and experienced. Our academics are purely based on both practical as well as written knowledge across all fields of courses. Exams for all students are semester wise, which means we have two internal assessments and two main semesters every year, which is the same for all students. The faculties are very much supportive of all students.
Since it is a government college, the course fees are very much affordable and not expensive for any student to avail of a course. Fee structures are very much modest for normal UG or PG courses, but for professional courses such as ITM, IST, and JMC, the fee structure is a bit expensive than a usual course.
The university offers scholarships based on some terms and conditions such as students belonging to weaker sections of the society or students belonging to low-income families. Some students can even apply for loans from banks associated with the university as educational loans.
Since it is an old and reputed university all over India, placements and internships programs are vast for students from various departments. Many well-known and established companies visit the University for Recruitments of students. The students from the last year of their graduation or post-graduation are allowed to sit for on-campus or off-campus companies. Companies that come for recruitment every year are TCS, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Vodafone, etc.
Yes, the university also offers internship programs for students to have a better experience.
The University offers both UG and PG for Journalism and Mass Communication program. Bachelor’s students are selected based on merit or percentage they have secured in 10+2 exams, and PG students undergo entrance exam for admission in the particular course. The entrance exam is conducted internally by the University. For PhD and M.Phil students, they are required to sit for the Research Entrance Test, and after qualifying the exam, they are required to undergo a personal interview. Entrance exams for PhD and M.Phil students are UGC NET, GATE, or SLET.
Candidates should have 60% in graduation and especially in sociology and there is no entrance exam.
I am new to the college and the teaching is excellent and we expect a lot from my university
OJEE entrance and rank nearly 250 is needed to take admission and any graduation department is eligible and mathematics should be at +2 and +3 level.
However, in this university, no students society can be formed and if students are interested in forming such societies they are only allowed with their respective departments. Every year in the month of January and February numerous hostel functions and conducted and celebrated with a lot of enjoyment.
Here a total of 11 hostels are there. Out of which 5 are for girls and 6 hostels for boys. The hostels' facilities are overall good and hostel fees are also considered fine. There are separate study room and computer room in each of the hostels. There are no AC facilities in any of the hostels.
The class starts every day around 9 AM sharp and ends at 4 PM evening. The teacher faculties are good and they are always present for doubt clearance.
The total course fees for 3 years is Rs. 60,000. For each year its approx Rs. 20,000. The actual fees may vary. The following scholarships are available to the students who study at Ravenshaw University. Students who think they can get scholarships must apply for scholarships in the scholarships section through the Register to the concerned authorities.

I haven't sat in any of the campus settings as I am in the 1st year of this graduate course but my seniors say that the placement is good in big companies such as TCS, Wipro, SAP, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Trident etc. 80% of our seniors were placed successfully in TCS. The lowest salary was Rs. 2 lacks per annum and the highest was Rs. 3.2 Lakh per annum.
It's a three-year course and medium is English. The total fee for this course is around Rs. 60,000. The minimum qualification is, the student should be 12th pass out with a minimum of 50% in their respective board's exams. Other qualifying criteria is that the candidate must have passed three-year DIPLOMA in engineering with 50% marks from an institution recognized by the State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha. A total number of seats available is 32. Out of which 19 is for General, 7 for ST and 5 for SC students
Many companies come for placement.., especially for Bcom. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra do come too..but the salary is not up to the mark.
There are so many student societies and clubs like photography club, music club, dance club and much more. The good scope is provided for the talented youngsters. Sports, cultural and management festivals are the eye catchers. Here at Ravenshaw University, the college life is very calm and peaceful for the ones who want to be in themselves and rocking for the social birds.
There are 6 hostels for both boys and girls with free WiFi, breakfast, lunch and dinner facilities. Rooms are 6 seated and tiled all over. These hotels do not charge for accommodation, they only charge for the food. So they take the hostel admission fees and we have to clear our monthly mess dues. Other PG colleges are also quite good but they will be charging much more than Ravenshaw University. The food quality and the cost per meal of the food varies from hostel to hostel. Quality of classrooms, laboratory, library, dining halls is excellent. Free WiFi is provided in every hostel.
Daily routine differs from batch to batch like UG 1st year has a different routine from UG 2nd year. Teachers are cooperative and helpful, so they try to make the class interesting and interactive. Overall experience in college is satisfactory.
Course fee per year is 2900 rupees per year. Government scholarship is available for students. Interested candidates can apply and get its benefits. A scholarship is merit based so there are no limitations for the number of applicants. No loans are needed.
The internship is not provided. State government stipends are provided for the students who get 60% and above. There is no campus selection for English graduate student in RU.
For admission, the applicant must have secured at least 50% in their 12th board examination and must have secured at least 60 marks in English. There is no entrance examination held for admission, the process is all done on merit basis. Cutoffs are done on the merit basis, according to the application of the students submitted on the website.

Minimum 8to 9 hostels are available in our campus. It located in the center of cuttack so plenty number of pgs available out side the campus. *no college have no canteen.but you can eat In Hostle. *yeah it much better.

For the seat of BSc ITM Ravenshaw you have a first div in 12th that 60% or more than 60%. It is totally a mark basis selection. Cutoffs not needed
All department have own society for right development. Sports are the main festival and cultural also. Very good life here. Awesome.
Many hostels nearly 14. The fee is very less anyone can afford but it is only for scholar students. Other colleges demand more money. Food is very good in only 30 rupees Very highly developed lab
