Main festivals are cultural at the month of January. College day is celebrated on March. Life in college is good.


INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

There are 5 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. Overall hostel fee is ₹12000 per year. Food in college is good. The cost of food varies from individual to individual. 


ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Class timings are split into 2 hours of theory class and 4 hours of practical classes. 1-hour lunch break is also provided. Quality and method of teaching are good. 


FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP

The course fee is ₹33000 per year. Scholarships awarded by the Adidravida Welfare Department and  Scholarships awarded by the Education Department are available. The Vijaya Bank is operating a permanent branch in the campus on all working days for the benefit of the staff and students. Vijaya Bank Endowment lectures are being organised, by inviting eminent personalities.


Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

A pass in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in Biology / Botany & Zoology, Physics and Chemistry (40% for SC candidates). The cutoff is around 185.

  • The total number of seats available for U.G. is 60 and among that 30 seats are allotted for students who attend Pondicherry state councilling (CENTAC), 9 seats for NRI & NRI sponsored candidates (by means of entrance examination), 6 seats for VCI (i.e., through AIPVT exam), 5 for Nagaland students etc.,
