The Rajasthan University Of Veterinary And Animal Sciences, popularly known as RAJUVAS Bikaner, Rajasthan, is well known for courses in livestock research and education. This institute is famous for animal engineering courses in India and provides an opportunity for the students with its education quality.

• The objective and vision of RAJUVAS are to create a learning environment for Livestock and product knowledge in the domestic and international markets which can lead to the strongly internetworked community to exchange the issues, concerns, policies with the help of debate amongst the students, faculty, society and the government.
• It was established to study the system of livestock breeding research and education in 1954.
• It offers high-quality education degree, diploma and certification programs in Animal breeding, product and engineering. 
• Located at Bareilly, Bikaner, Rajasthan, the university was established by Government of Rajasthan Act.
• Since the establishment, due to its recent programs in animal sciences, it has been a unique university by delivering higher quality education to students.

The institute has associations and tie-ups with various national and international agencies. This has helped to create scopes for animal research and development. The projects are from RKVY, RKVY NMPS, State plan projects, RACP and ICAR.

RAJUVAS is spread over hectares of land in the range of Bikaner, Rajasthan.  The university has 62 affiliated colleges spread over different districts of Rajasthan state. The university caters the animal sciences fraternity.

• MOU with IGNOU, New Delhi for starting courses on Milk Production Technology, Meat Technology and Poultry Farming.
• MOU with Ayurvet Ltd., New Delhi in the fields of research and extension.
• MOU has been signed between ICAR and North Carolina University, USA.
• MOU with School of Medical Science and Technology (SMST), IIT, Kharagpur for technology research and extension in Animal Science.
