Radha Govind University, [RGU] Ramgarh was established in the year 2018 and is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university aims to empower the youth of Jharkhand with vocational and skill development training, besides the teaching of traditional subjects, train them as a cultured citizen, and prepare them for employment.

Radha Govind University, Ramgarh offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, and also has a number of diploma courses. The university campus spread over 50 acres of land with 3 lacs sq.ft. built-up area.

The university offers diploma courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the UG level, 6 different courses are offered under the domains of Hospitality Administration, Education and Agriculture. Students who have passed matriculation are eligible to these diploma courses. In addition to this, Post Graduate Diploma courses in journalism and Mass Communication, and Yoga are offered to postgraduates.

At the undergraduate level, courses are offered in domains such as Science, Arts and Humanities, Commerce and Administration. The Honours degree in Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] and Bachelor of Arts [B.A] degrees are offered in a number of subjects, as well as the BCA degree in Computer Applications. These courses are for a duration of 3 years. The university also offers an Integrated Course in B.A + L.L.B which amounts to 5 years. Apart from these mainstream courses, the university also offers courses in Journalism and Mass Communication, Physical Education and Yoga which are more vocation based courses. Postgraduate courses offered by the University include MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.A, M.Ed, MCA. These are 2 year courses. Apart from these regular courses, there are off-beat courses such as Master of Journalism and Mass Communication [MJMC] and Master of Physical Education and Sports [M.P.E.S], L.L.B (which is a 3 year course) and L.L.M. (which is a 2 year course). The 3 year MBA course is yet another option for students at the postgraduation level, three different specialization subjects are offered. For candidates wanting to pursue research, the university offers opportunities to undertake Ph.D [Doctor of Philosophy] in any area of specialization offered by the university. candidates can opt for specialization only in the subjects in which they have completed Post graduation.

Duly filled Applications can be then posted to the college address with a passport size photograph and all necessary documents attested and attached along with the form.
