Facilities @ Quantum :- 

Every effort has been made at Quantum Global Campus to provide each student access to a wide range of activities, facilities and support on campus. Quantum, with its beautifully landscaped and carefully tended gardens, provides an ideal environment for a great learning experience. The facilities at Quantum are truly world class, be it the academic facilities or extracurricular facilities. 

Academic Facilities :- 

Lecture Halls 

The Classrooms at Quantum are equipped with ceiling mounted LCD projectors and computers. The classrooms are uniquely stepped designed to provide the students with the best view of the faculty and the board no matter where he or she might be seated providing a very pleasant learning experience. 

Seminar Halls And Auditorium 

The auditorium, with a seating capacity of 550 and centrally air-conditioning, is undoubtedly the crown jewel at Quantum campus. Equipped with modern facilities like multimedia projector and sound systems, the auditorium has large lobbies and verandahs ideally suited to hold International Conferences and Exhibitions. It is a hub of activities happening on campus, be it an academic event like a conference, a seminar, a placement drive or a fun get together by the students to celebrate their annual functions, farewell parties etc.

Besides this main auditorium, there is also an air-conditioned mini auditorium to seat 150 students. These is used to hold seminars and meetings. To cater to the increasing number of seminars and symposia, each department has a fully equipped and well-furnished seminar hall with sufficient seating capacity. 

Labs 

The labs at Quantum are equipped with the latest equipment for training; research and development in emerging technological domains supported by state-of-the art machines and equipmen having high-end computers.

The departments have setup specialized laboratories such as Wireless and Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Grid Computing, Network Modeling and Simulation. These labs aree in-line with the objectives of academic programmes and associated courses.

The Central Workshop is equipped with Electronica EDM Wirecut, EDM Spark Erosion, Conventional Lathes, Batliboi Milling Machines, Shapers, Slotter, Planer, Eiffco Gear Hobber, Gear Shaper, Centreless Grinder, Praga Hydraulic Surface Grinder, Eiffco Radial Drilling Machine, Various wood working machines, Bosch Power Tools, L&T TIG & MIG welding sets, Arc welding Transformers & Rectifiers, Crucible Tilting furnace and Sheet Metal equipments. Measuring instruments such as Milling Tool Dynamometer, Lathe Tool Dynamometer, Tool Tip Temperature measuring Thermocouple, Digital Vernier, Gear Tooth Vernier, Vernier Height gauges and Micrometers.

The Dynamics & Robotics Lab is equipped with High end Workstations with 19” monitors, all necessary tools and equipment to conduct lab experiments including a SCARA Robot manipulator, FANUC manipulator, Lab View, Ultra GRIP Software, MSc.ADAMS 2005 Software, KOSIM Software, etc.

Each and every lab in the departments is fully equipped to provide the best of practical exposure to the students. 

The Q Library 

Quantum understands well that a library & information centre of an exceptional quality form the nerve centre of any good institute. Connecting both students and faculty with global resources of knowledge, the 'Q' Library continues to adapt to challenging new demands and provides a professional and conducive learning atmosphere for the empowerment of its users.

The library is rich in resources in the subjects of engineering, management, administration and allied areas. The library houses industry relevant reports, standards, journals, magazines, newsletters, etc. An automated set-up with user friendly portal providing a single point access to e-resources. Full text Journals database subscription is available for the faculty as well as the students. 

Campus Facilities :- 

Hostel Facility 

"Hostel", is the most memorable part of college life for the students. At Quantum, its world-class hostels are not just about buildings; but are the core of the very culture. Providing a very secure and fun-filled environment that makes the student feel quite at home, hostels at Quantum Global Campus are the nucleus of the student bonding. The vibrant spaces of those nightlong studies and project work as much as they are the den to just let it loose and unwind after a hard day’s work. 

Health Services 

Healthcare facilities for Quantum students and faculty are our major concern. The Health Centre conducts regular medical check-ups by resident and visiting doctors for students and staff. An ambulance is present on campus at all times for emergencies. Through the Health Club, the centre also organises awareness meetings on specific health problems. 

Sports Facilities 

Quantum offers a wide array of sporting facilities, both indoor and outdoor, for Qmates. Students keenly take part in activities viz. football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, athletics and indoor games like carom, chess etc are also available to students. 

Mess And Cafeteria 

Dining is such an important part of college life. In addition to keeping the students healthy and fit, mess and cafeteria are great places where they gather and connect with peers and teachers. At Quantum we try to makes the dining experience the very best, each day, in every meal. Food at Quantum is taking seriously. Students are offered the finest of nutritious food in a very relaxed atmosphere. The quality, selection and ease of Qauntum’s dining services are among the best college. 

Gymnasium 

There are two separate gyms for boys and girls (in respective hostels) for maintaining the physical fitness and health have been provided for our students and staff in our campus. The Gym is open on all days. Having been extended in recent years, the Gym now consists of all modern equipments. 

Transport Facility 

Although the campus is well connected by local public transport, Quantum has its own bus fleet which provides transport facility from nearby cities to the campus from specific pickup points pre-defined as per the convenience of students. Currently, a fleet of 14 ply from

E - Campus 

With a zeal to provide state-of-the-art facilities, the Institute has worked hard to excel across a range of computer-based disciplines. There has been a large investment in an ultra high-speed Fibre Optic Backbone for networking across the campus. Wi-Fi connectivity is given at different locations to give Internet access to faculties. Internet facilities are provided throughout the campus through leased lines. 

Safety On Campus 

Staff and students welfare is top priority at Quantum. Adequate safety measures are followed throughout the campus in the best possible manner. Treated water is supplied to all on campus. Sophisticated fire alarm systems and foam type fire extinguishers are strategically positioned throughout the campus, while training in safety and first aid is conducted as a routine for staff and students.
