If you’re considering graduate or post graduate school, you may be asking yourself a single question:
“Which College should you study at?”
The answer is as individual as you are. It depends on your career goals, academic interests, and financial resources.
To put across the last one – PCTE has been ranked the 9th most Economical B-School in the country in 2004, and you would be pleasantly surprised to find that the fee structure remains the same for most courses as you apply in 2014.
As you weigh the merits of various colleges and institutions, however, consider that the broad range of faculty expertise, course offerings, and research facilities at PCTE Group of Institutes is difficult to equal elsewhere. PCTE has distinguished faculty like Dean (Management) from IIM, Ahmedabad, Dean (Computer Science) from IIT, Kharagpur, Director (Pharmacy) from Punjab University, Chandigarh and teamed up with an equally grand co-workers to back them up.
PCTE Campus
The two campus stretch with a bare kilometer apart, have architectural stunningly designed and landscaped campuses sitting between plush greens. Sporadic coffee outlets and cafes inside the campus mark the student’s hangouts.
The student population, which is approx. 2700, reflects the diverse culture from across the country and abroad. PCTE was founded in 1999, and the campus is one of the modern buildings adding to the ambience, with a wi-fi campus making surfing a click away for students.
Established in one of the most industrial cities of North India, it sets off PCTE to have easy interface with multinational corporates, industrial houses, resource visitors to the campus, etc. PCTE is half an hour from Ludhiana Aviation Airport, which supports sporadic flights, and also two hours away from Domestic/International Airport at Chandigarh, also the political head of the state. It is three hours away from Domestic/International Airport in Amritsar. The latter also provides the opportunity for one of the finest tourist destinations in the world – The Golden Temple, JalianwalaBagh, Wagah Border Ceremony on Pakistan border, and many more historical monuments. PCTE is a five hours drive from the capital of the country, New Delhi.
North Punjab is loud in most of the things – including the temperature. One can weather from 0 degrees in winters to 45 degrees in summers, which allows most of its residents to have two wardrobes – a winter and summer, though it never snows in this region.
