More than 60 companies visited the NMIMS School of Business Management, Bengaluru, campus for the 2021 placements. Students were placed in high profile roles in top companies in the marketing, finance, consulting, HR and analytics sector. A total of 31 new recruiters participated and 8 pre-placement offers were made to the students, before the final placement.

NMIMS School of Business Management Placement Cell

The NMIMS Placement Cell comprises a placement team of executives and a placement committee of students for the smooth functioning of the placement activities. The placement cell offers placement assistance and coordinates all placement activities (Training Activities, Summer Internships and Final Placements) for the students of different specializations.

The placement cell takes effort to facilitate the placement process and ensure that participants get placement opportunities befitting their skills and calibre. The SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management placement team and placement committee together is responsible to identify and visit the targeted organizations and inviting them to campus for Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs).

The placement cell organises different events throughout the year to bridge the gap between the students and the corporates and shares the placement brochure with student profiles with the organisations.

NMIMS School of Business Management Internships

Students at NMIMS School of Business Management have to undergo a compulsory summer internship and training and work on their summer project, during their course of study. As a part of the academic curriculum, students intern at an organisation of their choice for a duration of 6 to 8 weeks during the summer break.

NMIMS placement cell makes all the efforts possible to provide Summer Internship opportunities to as many participants as possible, and students are free to work in an organisation of their choice as well. The Summer Internship is expected to terminate with the submission of a Summer Project Report to NMIMS within the prescribed deadlines. Students also receive a stipend ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 80,000 based on the company and role.
