NIILM University Admission 2024: Check Admission Details

• The Admission Forms are available online at the official website of NIILM University, Kaithal.

• The forms can also be collected from the University Campus office.

• The Admission Form is as follows:

• The filled forms with attested testimonials must be submitted to the University.

• The Application fees of INR 600/- can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of "NIILM University" payable at Kaithal.

The Applicants are advised to follow these instructions:

• Fill in all relevant columns with legitimate details.

• Personal details and the application form number must be written on the back of the Bank Demand Draft/ Bank Challan/ the receipt copy of NEFT voucher and the same should be attached to the filled in application form. The details of which are as follows:

• Latest passport size photograph must be attached to the application form.

• Copies of other documents must also be as provided with the application form.

• Admission will be done based on Entrance exam results.

• Students from Haryana domicile will be given priority for admission.

• The eligibility of the candidates will be verified at the time of counseling.

• Admission shall be made on merit basis according to the eligibility criteria mentioned by the college.

• Those who have done graduation or post-graduation shall not be eligible for admission to five year integrated programmes.

• In case, two or more candidates have secured identical marks, their relative merit will be determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

• In the event of the marks in the qualifying examination also being identical, the candidate who is senior in age will get preference to register first in the chosen course.

• Decimal digits will not be rounded off to a whole number for calculating the percentage of marks.

• Counseling for admission to the courses will be held as per "Counseling Schedule" given in the prospectus at the Departments/ Institutes. There will be no separate communication sent in this regard.

• The eligible candidates must appear personally before the Counselling Committee for verification of documents as per the Counseling Schedule that is given in the prospectus before the admission is done. The students will be called for counseling in order of merit.

• Department/ Institute/ College once selected at the time of counseling by the candidate will be final.

• Candidates admitted during the counseling, shall deposit the fee on the date of counseling at the University Cashier/ Bank, without which their admission will be canceled.

• The candidates must give the original and one set of attested copies of all the required certificates, documents, and testimonials to the Admission Committee for verification.

• After the completion of admission formalities and verification, the original certificates/ documents/ testimonials will be returned to the candidates.

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 in any Stream from a recognized Board to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 42.75% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 42.75% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

•  The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics from a recognized Board.

B.Sc [Hons] (Agriculture)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent with having studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics or Agriculture stream from a recognized Board to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 47.5% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

B.Sc [Non-Medical]

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent with having studied Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics from a recognized Board to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

B.Sc (Mass Communication in Journalism & Advertising)/ B.Sc (Media Management)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in 10+2 in any Stream from a recognized Board to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 40% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

BBA/ B.Com/ B.Sc (Hotel Management & Tourism)/ B.Sc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration)/ B.Sc (Hospitality & Hotel Management)/ B.Sc (Fashion Design & Technology)/ B.Sc (Fashion Technology)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Senior Secondary Examination or 10+2 in any Stream from Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani or any other equivalent examination.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

MBA/ M.Com

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com (Hons/Pass)/ BBA/ BA/ B.Sc with Economics/ Commerce/ Marketing/ Insurance as a subject of study or any other equivalent degree, to be eligible for admission

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

B.Sc (Computer Science)/ BCA

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent with having studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics from a recognized Board to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in B.Sc with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics from a recognized University to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

M.Sc (Mass Communication in Journalism & Advertising)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation from any Course from a recognized University to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

M.Sc (Hotel Management & Tourism)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc from a recognized University to be eligible for admission.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have secured 45% marks to apply for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

M.Sc (Fashion Design & Technology)

The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University to be eligible for admission.

M.Sc (Fashion Design & Technology)

Admissions will be done on the basis of merit with weightage given according to the following percentage of marks:

• 70% for the Qualifying Examination

• 20% for the Group Discussion

• 10% for the Interview

MA (Education)/ MA (English)/ MA (Hindi)/ MA (Sanskrit)/ MA (Economics)/ MA (Geography)/ MA (Sociology)/ MA (History)/ MA (Political Science)/ MA (Public Administration)

The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks aggregate in Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University to be eligible for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

MA (Physical Education)

• The candidates who apply should have secured a minimum of 45% marks aggregate in Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University to be eligible for admission to NIILM University, Kaithal.

  Or

  The candidates who apply should have passed 1 year, 2 years and 3 years B.P.Ed course with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

• The candidates must qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (Canadian Test). There will be no marks for this test. PET is not applicable to Industry sponsored/ NRI candidates. Candidates failing in PET shall not be called for counseling.
