INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

There is a hostel here. I don't know about the cost as it will be in minimum range.Otherwise, there are lots of mess and pgs where you can stay at minimum cost as per your living standard.Classrooms have ac as well as labs.

What are the infrastructure facilities available?

Infrastructure Facilities:

The university has a great infrastructure and following are some of the facilities provided to the students on the campus:

1) Library

Library facility Library facility is one of the important services in any educational institute.
In addition to the Self Learning Materials (SLMs), the University wants to provide the library facility to all of its registered students/ learners for additional resources.
But to cater to the needs of a huge number of registered students, the University needs unlimited libraries to provide educational support to everyone.
To cope with the situation, the University has initiated the process of setting up a strategic partnership with the existing network of Public Libraries that are available in the State of West Bengal to offer educational support to our learners all over the State.
This initiative taken by NSOU is the first of its kind in the country.

2) Interactive Radio Counselling

The University broadcasts different subjects on 4th Sunday of every month through All India Radio (AIR) at Kolkata B.
Apart from the regular classes various topics on Awareness Programme; Support Services Special Programme of National importances are also broadcast.
