Placements & Internships : I had done an internship in Android app development in the ICETL lab in the year 2018 which was recommended by my college. I had done another internship in App Development in WEBTEK which was also recommended by my college.

Big companies don't come for placement at my college but once you completed your course one can apply for off-campus, its hard, but if one had knowledge its not that hard.  Salary would not be great for starters, but it becomes decent when one has experience. This institute hasn't given any great alumni but it can give one someday.  

Entrance Exams & Admissions : NSIT is one of the best private engineering colleges in Patna. It has decent faculty members and labs are also pretty good. Its location is also around a clean and good environment. It also actively participate in different activities. Overall, one can say that if one wants to pursue engineering in Patna, they can go for it.   Eligibility criteria for admission are that you have to give entrance exams for private engineering colleges in Patna or one can give the entrance exam of college itself. A student must be passed in 10th and 12th with 60%. The cutoffs differ every year.  NSIT provides courses in Engineering and Diploma. For Engineering, they have four branches Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science,  Electronics and Electrical and for diploma also the same.

Fees & Scholarships : Netaji Subhash Institue of Technology Fee Structure. Fees of Netaji Subhash Institue of Technology is 40,000 per semester per year. Hostel feel is 60,000 yearly. If one wants transport as one could need because college is located in the outer of Patna, the transport fee will be 18,000 yearly.  Scholarships are available for students given on the criteria. First, there is one merit list which is based on one's score. Second, there is a scholarship on the marks of your 10th and 12th. Third, there is a scholarship based on your family's income.  Students who really need the scholarship, they get it. In my batch which was a total of 60, 30 were given scholarship based on the criteria. Sometimes students need loans to continue their study, this college provides student loans. They are connected with Oriental Bank and Allahabad bank. 

Academics & Faculty : One best thing if one has to say about this college is its discipline and timing. Once you enter the gate of college campus you can't get out till the college is over, if there is nothing important. The college starts at 10 AM and ends at 04 PM.  Every day there are assignments assigned to students. Faculty are strict about their assignments as they have to give a grade on that too. Exams are taken regularly. Students are evaluated on that basis then.  Method of teaching in this college is like one can say old way of teaching. They teach every topic specifically and make sure every one of the students understand.  Overall, I would this college is best for students who can self study a lot. Though this college helps but still without self studying there is nothing much one can do. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facility is also given in this college. There is a separate hostel for girls and boys. Hostels are in nicer condition. Hostel feel is 60,000 yearly.  There are PGs outside college but that all are little far as the college location is outer in Patna. So, students don't prefer staying in PGs. If one wants to take then the cost per bed is 4,500 monthly, in general. The rate differs in different PGs.  The college has a canteen, students can buy snacks and stuff from there during break hours. The canteen doesn't provide meal for students who don't live in the hostel.   Labs are quite equipped. I have studied Computer Science so I can say that the computer lab is up to date. Mechanical labs/workshops are little behind but they are updating it also.  

Clubs & Associations : This college has many small student societies or say clubs. Each department has its own club like the mechanical department has four clubs, electrical has three, computer science has five clubs, civil has six clubs of different genres. Sometimes they also took part in government movements too. The college organizes one big annual event which is called KRUST. There are many various fun activities there like a fashion show, musical shows. They even organize a small concert for NSITIANS in which they call some celebrity. It also has technical activities from every department.   In general, life in NSIT is a bit tiring but fruitful. It one of the good private engineering colleges in Patna.
