The laboratories were equipped with various instruments which are essential for running the laboratory viz,

Seminar Hall:

A well furnished seminar hall is available with the state-of the art facilities for conducting seminar, symposia etc. This facility is available for usage by Govt./ private organizations.

Library:

The Centre has developed its library which has enormous books (1558 no.) and subscribes to 17 Journals of related disciplines.

AKMU:

Agriculture Knowledge Management Unit (formerly ‘ARIS Cell’) is provided with internet connections in order to have connectivity with ICAR headquarters and other institutes. Several online journals are accessible through Consortium on e-Resources in Agriculture (CeRA).

Agromet observatory:

The agromet observatory has been functioning since June 2007 with the following instruments to record the weather parameters.

• Max. & Min. Thermometer
• Wet bulb & dry bulb Thermometer
• Soil thermometer for 5, 10, 20 cm depth
• Thermograph
• Hygrograph
• Windwane
• Robinson’s Cup anemometer
• Ordinary rain gauge
• Self Recording rain gauge
• Sunshine Recorder
• USWB Open pan Evaporimeter

Besides, Automatic Weather Station was also established for recording the weather parameters.
