Academics & Faculty : Class starts at 9am- 1am and the second half of the day starts at 1pm- 4pm. We have less pressure of exams but the pressure of assignments is high. Quality and method of teaching are appropriate as a design college deserves to be. The overall experience in college is amazing as it's a college for designers meaning by new ideas and lots of creativity.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per year is INR 1,75,000/- approx including the hostel fee. Subsidies are available for students with insufficient money background on the basis of annual income of the family. Average number of students getting incentives are around 25. Loan is granted by Union Bank of India which operates with Nift kangra. Other banks also provides educational loans.

Placements & Internships : NIFT Kangra has a good alumni network as it's 7th year of running successfully. Key companies like Bollywood Production houses, Television Production houses, large retailers, Brand marketers, e-retailers, textile mills, home furnishing companies, etc. visit our college.  - For the bachelor's programme average annual salary has been Rs. 4 lakhs per annum and highest has been Rs 12 lakhs per annum.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 girls hostels in the campus which are fine and fee per month is Rs. 2330/-. Food is fine and it costs Rs 40 to 50 per meal. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, Wi-fi is pretty fine.

Clubs & Associations : Life in NIFT Kangra is pretty peaceful and nice. Surrounded by scenic beauty the campus is really nice place to be. Almost every festival is celebrated in this college with a pinch of creativity.
