Library

Library is a Treasure House of Knowledge. The College Library is well equipped with nearly 50,000 books and students have easy access to them. Every year hundreds of books by recent authors in each discipline are added to the list. Besides News papers both in English and Vernacular, scores of Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly magazines are available. 17 Journals also find a place in the Library. Conducive ambience prevails in the library which facilitates the students to enrich and update their knowledge.

Hostel

College offers hostel accommodation for the welfare of the students’ coming from distant and remote areas. During 2011-12 a new hostel (Minority Women’s hostel) has been constructed by utilizing the UGC XI plan grant. Nearly 300 students’ are benefitted by two hostels available in the College Campus.

Remedial Coaching

Remedial Coaching for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer and minorities) offered with the financial assistance of university grants commission is a great boon to the students. Remedial coaching has facilitated peer learning, pair learning and group discussion too. Hence difficult subjects have been made easy. It has boosted up their confidence level to brave the exams. It has enhanced the pass percentage of the students and minimized the dropout rate. 

Special Training

Every year with the fund received  from the State Government, the departments of English and Mathematics offer special training classes for the socially and economically disadvantaged MBC/SC/ST students to enhance their academic performance.
