MS College of Law, Thane was established in 2012 by Habib Educational Welfare society (HEWS). Habib Educational Welfare society was founded by Er. Mohd. Shoeb Habibullah Khan in 1993 with the vision of providing quality education for all section irrespective of religion, caste, creed. The institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai and recognized by Bar Council of India[BCI].

The Institute aimed to provide "Education for all" irrespective of their percentage, the college admits students with low-percentage and nurture them to improve intelligence and honor their skills in all respects for overall development.

MS College of Law, Thane Courses include a 3-year law course and a 5-year law course. Each course is independent of others and in accordance with the rules laid down by the University of Mumbai and the bar council of India. Each course has its own admission criteria.

The campus has a well equipped Library, Seminar Hall, IT Infrastructure, Language Lab, etc.

• The library is automated with Integrated Library Management System[ILMS].
• The college library also has an RFID system for identification of books in the library.
• The institute also provides an open software like Open Office ORG and Open Source OS like Redhat Linux and Ubuntu.
• The entire campus has Wi-Fi Connectivity.
• It also has a language lab in its college to uplift the knowledge of the students.

• The admission process for the 5- Year LLB course will commence immediately after the declaration of H.S.C results.
• The admission process for the 3- Year LLB course will commence after the declaration of the graduation results by the University of Mumbai.
