FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP

For management quota, the fee is INR 66000 and for government quota, the fee is INR 45000 per annum. Government quota students will get a small amount of scholarship. Around 30 students avail it. The loans are needed.

Mookambigai College of Engineering (MEC), Pudukkottai was established in 1985. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. The college has been managed under the aegis of Sri Mariyamman Educational Trust with the aim of imparting higher knowledge in engineering and technology to the aspiring boys and girls so that they can emerge as competent scientists, engineers and technologists of repute.

Founded in 1985, the Mookambigai College of Engineering is an offspring of Sri Mariamman Educational, Health and Charitable Trust, Woriyur, Tiruchirappalli. The Management consisting of a team with progressive – minded and benevolent trustees, has at the helm, the far sighted and enthusiastic president Thiru. S. Subramaniam. The trust has another technical institution, Srinivasa polytechnic College under its management, at the same campus. Ours is a Telugu miniority Institution. Since its inception, the Mookambigai College of Engineering has been trading a path of steady and sustained growth and achievements. Today this institution is an epitome of excellence, bears testimony to the high educational standards, a deep student – faculty involvement and a continuous industry – institution – society interaction as conceived by the Chairman of the Institution.

Presently the Alumini of the college, exceeding 3500, can be spotted all over the world, who provide ample testimony to the credentials of this institution.
