Library

For excellent and accurate knowledge of any subject, one needs to know things by reading several numbers of books. One cannot get complete knowledge of anything by reading it in a single book.

This fact is very well known for the management of this college so this college has an excellent library for the students. Students are allowed to take books from this library and read it for developing their knowledge in all things. The total area of the library is 5500sq.ft. This is located on one floor of the administrative block.

For the convenience of candidates of every department, a library is made for each and every department. In the library, there are around 6830 books in order to provide candidates full opportunity to read whatever they want. Every type of book is included in this library such as comics, tragedy, and romance, horror, and course books.

Other than this, 58 international journals are available in this library. College is subscribed to 66 international journals as well as 28 national journals. The annual grant for buying books and journals is 20lakhs. There is a separate reading room for postgraduates. In the reading room, 100 students can read at a time. Apart from books, 66 videocassettes and 263 CD ROMS are available in this library.

Hospital Facility

All the operation theatres have sufficient and all-important equipment. Services such as X-ray facilities are provided for a very nominal cost and general check-up of normal public is also done for a low charge. For the maintenance of hospital Rs. 48lakhs is required which is collected by management and trust. Management also pays for all capital expenditures such as the purchase of costly equipment. Hostel Facility

Students come from long distances to study in good colleges. Meenakshi Ammal Dental College is one of the best dental colleges in India. Common sense states that there must be a hostel for these students who have come to study from long distance or out of the station and have no one who stays in that place.

Keeping this in mind, the hostel is located on the campus of this college for the benefit and convenience of students. Candidates who have come from out of station live in this hostel and never regret it because the hostel is perfect when service is considered. Every room provides complete comfort and when food is considered, students have always called it tasty.

There are 4 hostel buildings of this college out of which 3 buildings is for girls and 1 is for boys. Hence, lots of students can live in the hostel which is made by this college for the convenience of students.

Canteen Facility

A canteen is functioning within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative on the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided.
