Library

Libraries are backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institution. Thus the library at MIET also acquires a prominent place among the students and faculty. Situated On second floor the centrally air-conditioned Building spread over an area of 5000 square meters; it is a central place for academic and research activities. The library has well equipped reading rooms for 300 users. The Library has a very rich collection of relevant books and journals.

These services are provided through the central library. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology, the knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books, reports, proceedings, abstracts & indexes, encyclopedias, data books, standards (National & International) Journals. Apart from adding the new literature, the basic literature is also procured for the new programmes along with current one.

Sports

We at MIET understand the importance of sports in developing traits like confidence, leadership and team spirit among the students.

Sports Club at MIET organizes several Inter and Intra College Competition regularly.

Canteen

MIET college canteen is blessed with family atmosphere with a variety of delicious touched by a home made flavor, cooked to perfection and served with a great courtesy. Refreshments are available at the college canteen at affordable rates. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time.

Wi-Fi Connection

Internet connectivity is the backbone of today’s all time connected world where the happenings in any corner of the world could reach to every person in a fraction of seconds, and so as the newest technologies and inventions.

Keeping this in mind at MIET we have a well equipped Wi-Fi connectivity for the best connectivity to the outside world and intra campus.

MIET is supported by round the clock High Speed Internet Connectivity of 4Mbps and also provides Wi-Fi facility in identified zones. High throughput Wi-Fi access points helps students to browse internet for educational purpose.

Hostels

To facilitate convenience for outstation students, MIET provides excellent hostel facilities which come closest to being ‘A home away from home’.

There are 3 hostels for boys with a capacity of …40……students and 1 hostel for girls with a capacity of …100……students. Rooms are well equipped with air cooling system, mess facilities, cafeteria, stationary shops, solar heated water, departmental stores, internet connectivity, laundry services, gym, indoor and outdoor games, caring wardens and a tight security ensures a pleasant stay allowing students to focus on academics.

The housekeeping staff is available throughout the week to take care of cleaning of rooms, corridors and rest rooms on a daily basis. Separate guest rooms are also available for visiting parents/guardians. There are also separate residential apartments for faculty and staff.

All the hostels have facilities for emergency purpose. Hospital is at quick reach for immediate and preferential treatment. Hostels are well connected with city Railway Station, Bus Stand, Airport.

Transport

The Institute runs its own fleet of buses and Cabs for the convenience of the students and the staff members to help them commute from JODHPUR and surrounding areas . The students intending to avail the transport facility need to inform the transport officer at the time of admission.
