Accredited Management Programs

MDI Gurgaon offers Postgraduate Diploma programs in various specializations under Management. The programs are approved by AICTE and accredited by international organizations, which adds to the credibility of the curriculums. The main course offered by the institute is Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Additionally, the institute offers Fellowship and Management Development programs (MDPs) as well.

Students must have completed undergraduate education to be able to pursue the PGDM programs with specializations available at MDI Gurgaon.

In addition to postgraduate programs, the institute also offers Fellowship programs to interested students, which have a duration of 9 months. There are two types of Fellowship programs available at the institute. Besides being approved by AICTE, the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognized the Fellowship program as equivalent to PhD degrees of Indian Universities.

Accommodation Facilities

The institute provides housing facilities to the students pursuing PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM-IB courses. The hostel blocks are separate for boys and girls. The hostels consist of rooms on twin-sharing and four-sharing bases. Well-furnished with beds, tables and cupboards, the rooms are provided with all the necessary amenities. In addition, one of the hostels consists of a cooperative store where all the essentials are available.

PGDM-BM students have separate hostel facilities, which include air-conditioned and semi-furnished rooms. The executive students who are pursuing MDPs at the institute also have fully furnished, air-conditioned rooms with the availability of modern gadgets. 

The hostel inmates are served timely meals in a hygienic dining area. An additional mess charge of INR 4000-5000 is required to be paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals from the hostel mess.

Dress Code

The institute does not have a set uniform the students are expected to wear. There are no strict rules regarding the dress code. Nevertheless, the aspirants are expected to wear formal attire as it is a Business school.

Assured Placement Opportunities

Due to its location being home to several corporate headquarters of different companies, a wide range of recruiters participate in the placement drive held at the institute. Hence, almost all students graduating from MDI Gurgaon are assured of great career opportunities. Though it is not at par with the IIMs, the institute has companies that offer decent salary packages to its graduates.

More than 450 students have been placed by over 100 recruiters, with new companies joining the drive every year. The highest salary package offered to the students is INR 60 LPA.

The institute has an active Placement Committee, which trains and assists with the interviews with the companies. As per the previous year’s placement reports, the average salary package offered to the students was INR 27.67 LPA, with the median at INR 26.13 LPA.
