The foundation stone of the MIT building was laid by Late Anandraoji Deshmukh in 1975. The campus is very vibrant and beautiful with all facilities.

Maharashtra Institute Of Technology has all the basic facilities. Some of them are mentioned below:

• Cafeteria- A canteen is located in the middle of campus that serves high-quality meals with indoor and outdoor seating areas and a range of Indian and multi-cultural delicacies.
• Transportation- Local students have access to transportation. Students can use MIT buses to go on study excursions, industry trips, and other activities.
• Library- The Central Library is 1500 square meters in size and has all the important reference books.
• Hostels- Boys and girls are housed in separate hostels. Hostels are secure, comfortable, and clean, making them ideal for intellectual pursuits. Hostels have drinking water, healthful and nutritious food, 24-hour electricity, and prompt medical care facilities.
• Auditorium- The Auditorium and Seminar Halls, which can accommodate 30 to 500 people, are well-furnished, well-equipped, and conveniently placed.
• Financial Services- For financial services, the SBI, MIT Branch is located on campus. Students have access to ATMs from national banks, allowing them to meet their needs quickly.
