• Training and Placement Cell: This cell plays a vital role in counselling and guiding students for successful MGEC Placements. It organizes mock interviews, group discussions, pre-placement talks, interactive sessions with experts of the industry, case studies etc. 

• Personality Development Program [PDP]: This program is offered by the training and placement cell. It covers communication skills, presentation skill, career planning etc.

• Industrial Input: This institute is regularly been visited by successful leaders and entrepreneurs. They provide their perspectives on the ever-changing dynamics of the industry. These sessions help students as well as faculty for information and knowledge sharing with industry experts.

• Industrial Training: MGEC collaborates with the industry to ensure that students acquire the right knowledge, skill and aptitude through practical training in the industry. Students of the 6th sem of B.Tech of this college needs to undergo Summer Training in Industry.

• Industrial Visit: This institute has developed a dedicated Institute Interaction cell to improve the quality of technical education enough to meet the needs of the industry and economy and to enlist the participation of industry in Technical Education Programmes. It integrates industrial training and other inputs from industry with the teaching-learning process so as to develop the same in the students. 

• Seminars and Workshops: This institute held national conferences and seminars every year to catch up with the fast-changing world. Participation of academicians, research scholars and industrial delegates from across the country is seen during these conferences and seminars.
