Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology Infrastructure: Library, Labs, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

Lendi Institute of Engineering & Technology has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. Canteen can conveniently accommodate 200 students at a time and well maintenance with efficient service in the campus. The canteen is provided with good furniture and best cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons. It was a place where students unwind and relax with friends to enjoy good quality, delicious and healthy food and it was a treat for students. This place helps students to congregate not only to eat but also to exchange their views.

Library

 “A Room without books is a body without soul” which is similar to “A college without Library”. So the college accomplishes to turn out library not only to fulfill the academic requirements but also for the overall personality development of every individual. The College has a centralized A/C library which has been successfully meeting the needs of the teaching,research and student community in our college.

The Central Library, established in June 2008, is a proud partner in the institute’s march towards its vision playing a vital role in acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge. As a knowledge hub of LENDI, it offers a package of services, an ambiance that is extremely conductive for assimilation and creation of new knowledge. The main thrust of the library continues to be the improvement of the quality of services and facilities, achieving higher degree of user’s satisfaction and modernization of its activities and operations.

The Central Library is totally Air Conditioned, presently covers a total user area of 521 sq. Mtrs, with a seating capacity of 150. We are maintaining Text book section, Circulation section, Reference books, Journals, News papers & Magazines, previous question papers, reprography services and Digital library. 

TRANSPORT FACILITY

The college has a fleet of 22 buses to transport students, faculty, administration staff from all over the Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram cities. The buses start at various points and arrive the college at 8:45am and leave the college at 4:20pm which helps to reach the college, home early and safely.

• Transportation is available for conducting industrial visits, placement drives, camps conducted or organized outside the campus.
• Our facilities monitor students to maintain discipline in buses
• Anti ragging committee members will monitor students in every bus.
• Comfortable seating as per allotments.

 Additional Facilities

• The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
• Transport is also provided for sports, library, laboratory and late evening classes.
• Transport committee meets once in three months and the principal and the staff in-charge of the buses attend the meeting to discuss the smooth functioning of the buses and the discipline in the buses.
