Infrastructure :-

The Institute has had 12000 sq.ft building with hostel capacities of 200 students. The Institute has well equipped Laboratory, Library and conceived with a Lawn of 20000 sq.meter with the facilities of all forms of games, sports & other extracurricular activities.

The characteristics of the Institution:

1. This institution is recognized as a Primary Teachers' Training (D.Ed) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Institute
2. The academic year will start every year on the 1st of July and it will continue up to 30th June next year.
3. It is a co-education institution
4. The highest number of students in the institution will be 200 in each year
5. This institution is governed by the rules and regulations recognized and affiliated by N.C.T.E. and the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. In case of B.Ed. training college governed by the rules and regulations recognized and affiliated by N.C.T.E. and Vidyasagar University
6. Presently this institution is meant for only day-scholars.
7. The medium of teaching will be in Bengali
8. The classes will run from 8am to 12 noon and from 3pm to 6pm (changes will be done if required)
9. Classes with limited number of students and training under the valued teachers.
10. Opportunity for every student to participate in cultural activities to have first hand experience
11. There will be sufficient teaching aid material

13. Enough arrangement for creative and productive works

17. Arrangement of occasional lecturers by guest speakers during the academic session

19. The syllabus prescribed by West Bengal Primary Education Board will be followed rigorously
20. The final exam at the end of the academic year will be conducted centrally under the supervision and guidance of West Bengal Primary Education Board.
21. Within the academic year there will be an educational tour - far or near
22. With the endeavor of the students there will be publication of wall magazines at least once and if possible there will be an arrangement of exhibition
23. Remarkable days of the year will be observed with due respect
24. The 2801 teaching days of the academic year will be followed meticulously
25. The teaching will continue for 7 hours per day for 6 days in a week.
