Khallikote University at Berhampur (KUB) was established on 30th May 2015 under Rashtriya Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). It is the first cluster University in the state of Odisha. The College aims to impart quality education in several interdisciplinary professional courses. The University will motivate the students by igniting their analytical thinking and creativity with social responsibility. Khallikote University Admission can be done online from the official website of the university or by requesting through official email.

The Courses offered by the university are Post-Graduate (PG) Programmes. The University is devoted to providing quality education. Khallikote University aspires to be one of the most vibrant, dynamic and research-intensive universities of Odisha. It provides unparallel educational opportunities for the students hailing from lower socio-economic strata of society who seeks quality education in the emerging areas of the professional and IT savvy world. Presently university is located in a temporary campus.

The State government has allocated 20+acres of land at Palur Hills situated on the outskirts of Berhampur for the permanent campus for the university. The University strives to work hard as a team with a commitment towards the educational, health, cultural, economic, environmental, and social advancement of the state.

Khallikote University Courses

Khallikote University provides programs in Post Graduation in terms of Science and Management. Below mentioned are the courses offered by the university.

Khallikote University Departments

The university is offering postgraduate and Doctoral programs in 6 interdisciplinary subjects through its 6 PG departments. The following are the departments in the university:

Khallikote Infrastructure Facilities

The University has state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for research and teaching in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Plant Molecular Breeding, Infection Biology, Developmental Biology, etc. The University is also developing an advanced Media Technology Lab and Digital library network. The University provides various infrastructure facilities for students and faculties. 

The University has well-equipped computer facilities, presently with 16 high-end computers and one server, Printers, and LCD projectors.

Khallikote University Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Khallikote University are mentioned below:

Khallikote University Admission

The University Admission can be done by filling the Application form which can be obtained by email request or by downloading from the official website. An application fee of Rs.1000 should be paid in the form of Demand Draft (DD). Selection for the Admission for the courses will be done through the entrance test. The entrance test will be conducted at the centres in Odisha such as Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Rourkela, Rayagada and Keonjhar. 

Selected Candidates can take admission to the course by depositing the documents to the University. Original documents are returned after verifying except CLC, Conduct certificate and Migration Certificate. The list of selected candidates will be notified in the Khallikote University website and also in the notice board of the University. Intimation letter will be emailed to every selected candidate which mentions the required fees to be paid, last date of admission and the original documents to be submitted by the candidate. Documents should be submitted are mentioned below:

• Original College Leaving Certificate (CLC) from the last Institution
• Original Migration Certificate for candidates from other Universities
• Conduct Certificate in original from the last Institution attended
• Original Mark Sheet starting from 10th, Secondary to the last qualifying examination
• Four attested passport size coloured photographs
• Original Caste Certificate for SC/ST candidates.

For International Students, Admission can be done after getting clearance from the Government of India with a student visa and submitting a medical fitness certificate and other eligibility as prescribed by Govt. of India. There is no need for the candidates to appear for entrance test by Kallikote University.
