The institute provides scholarships based on a different category. Social Welfare Department, Government of U.P. scholarship is provided at Kanpur Institute of Management Studies. According to Uttar Pradesh Govt. order, the students whose family income is up to INR 2,00,000 PA, can avail scholarship and fee reimbursement under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.
For SC/ ST students 100 per cent fee reimbursement is assured under the scheme and the educational institutions are therefore obliged to take admission of SC/ ST students without any fee.
