TRAINING & PLACEMENT :

Taking care of the placement and training needs of the students is a dedicated Placement & Training Cell headed by Prof. Utpal Chakravarty, Dean, HR & Corporate Relations.

While the cell enthusiastically fetches employment opportunities across various sectors and industries, it also pays attention to the Corporate-Institution bonding. The cell also assists the students with their summer internships, and closely monitors the training and project work being undertaken by the students in course of their internships. The team of experienced faculty in the cell keeps the students informed of various job opportunities and placement fairs. A considerable number of students have been placed with Companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tata Technologies, IBM-RIM, Mann India Technologies, E2E Infotech, Syntel, Fujitsu, Zven Technologies, RebusCode, Impetus Technologies, HCL NEC, KEC International, L & T Infotech, Fizerv, etc.

Special efforts are made to invite experts for each type of company to train each and every student and for mock interviews.
For a developing college like JECRC UDML getting twice a dozen students placed in TCS is a remarkable achievement.

Training at JECRC UDML is a continuous process. The entrant is shaped and attuned to the prerequisites of the professional world, right from the day one. In-house training is what the Institution emphasises at every level, which picks up momentum by the time a student reaches the sixth semester.

The employability status of a student becomes the paramount concern of the College, in the course of enhancing and honing the technical skills and soft skills of the students.

The summer training module, which is a part of the curriculum guideline of Rajasthan Technical University, is also strictly followed by the college, whereby the Tr aining and Placement Cell keeps a track of the student's disposition during the stipulated slot of summer training. BSNL, DRDO, CEERI, Ericsson India, MICO BOSCH, NTPC, MTS, Nokia Siemens, Tata Teleservices, Shree Cements, NEI, Hero MotoCorp, REIL, CEG, Indian Railways, CRD Labs, GTL Ltd., Door Darshan Kendra, United Spirits, CnIR, Coreinfocom, EmRo Tech, Girnar Technologies, MG Techno Savvy, DH Automation, Vision World Technology and Karrox were some of the organisations where students pursued their summer training.

Regular sessions are held at the college for the development of technical skills. Corporate etiquettes are also floated in practice for the students to absorb as a behavioural trait. These efforts are made to bridge up the gap between theory outline and application requirement so as to build up a congenial Industry-Institution Interface.

TRACK RECORD

Reputed corporate houses and national organisations visited the campus for holding recruitment drives. Not just academic grades but also the skill, calibre and integrity of the students won them accolades and appreciation.
