The best thing about JUIT is its place, situated among the mountains surrounded by a green environment and pleasant weather, which makes it suitable for focusing on our studies. Campus infrastructure adds beauty to it. Every hostel is provided with Wi-Fi and LAN facilities.
Labs are well-configured with the latest hardware and software, and every classroom and lecture hall is provided with a projector and adequate seating arrangements. The library provides a wide range of books for every course, and a book fair is organized frequently to know the demands of new books required by students. Our college provides a hygienic mess with varied meals every day. They also offer two cafeterias and a dispensary with a doctor inside the college campus to handle emergencies.
The college also provides a badminton court, multiple table tennis court in hostels, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a ground for football and cricket.
The overall infrastructure is quite good. Hostels are better than you would find at most colleges and universities. The food in the mess is also quite good and there is a laundry facility also available for the students. So if the cost is not a problem hostels are quite good. Other facilities like labs etc are also very nice. The dept. Has fundings from DBT and DRDO so most of the high-end equipment are available in labs which the students are introduced to throughout the course.
The college infrastructure is one the best features of JUIT. Everyone visiting the campus is carried away by its design and architecture. The college has a huge hostel having a separate building for 1st-year students and combined for the rest. The hostel fees are INR 45000 per semester and include food, accommodation and laundry. There are an ample of PG's offering rooms at different rates and with different facilities. The food is above average if I compare to the food provided in other colleges, and is included in the hostel fees. The college provides 1gb/day data to each student.
