The overall infrastructure is quite good. Hostels are better than you would find at most colleges and universities. The food in the mess is also quite good and there is a laundry facility also available for the students. So if the cost is not a problem hostels are quite good. Other facilities like labs etc are also very nice. The dept. Has fundings from DBT and DRDO so most of the high-end equipment are available in labs which the students are introduced to throughout the course.
The college infrastructure is one the best features of JUIT. Everyone visiting the campus is carried away by its design and architecture. The college has a huge hostel having a separate building for 1st-year students and combined for the rest. The hostel fees are INR 45000 per semester and include food, accommodation and laundry. There are an ample of PG's offering rooms at different rates and with different facilities. The food is above average if I compare to the food provided in other colleges, and is included in the hostel fees. The college provides 1gb/day data to each student.
