Institute of Public Health and Hygiene Overview
Institute of Public Health and Hygiene was established in the year 1976, is a premier paramedical training institution of the country with a legacy of 45 years of providing career-oriented life skill training in the field of paramedical and allied health education. Since its inception, the college has been working to develop employability skills among the youth and groom them into a force of transformation to the nation. The institute offers a wide array of diploma programs and UG programs under renowned UGC-recognized universities. It is only one of its kinds imparting technical training to defence personnel (Army, Navy and Air Force) from the Ministry of Defense and CRPF, ITBP & NDRF from Ministry of Home Affair, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India and various State Governments under the “Capacity Building” Scheme of the State Govts.
IPHH is also the institute of national importance under the All India Survey of Higher Education, an initiative of Deptt. of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Reckoning the skill gap in the healthcare sector and with its visionary approach, the institute has been able to hone the employability skills among its learners and shaped the career of thousands of its alumni over the past four decades.

College life, in general, is very good because I find all students and teaching faculty are very friendly and helpful.
College InfrastructureCollege has huge buildings. Its located just walking distance from the metro station and bus stand. Institute has a huge lab and library. The college hostel facility was also excellent. Food quality served in a mess is very good.
