Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana. The Institute was established in the year 1989 as Food Craft Institute and was started functioning from August 1989. It has been up-graded as Institute of Hotel Management since July 2009. The institute is located adjacent to famous Badkhal Lake Tourist Resort, and is easily accessible by rail and road

3 Years B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. 1¹⁄₂ Year PG Diploma Course in Accommodation Operation and Management (AO&M) & 1¹⁄₂Year Diploma Courses in Food Production (FP) and Food & Beverage Service (F&B) are offered by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology. The degree & diploma courses are designed in such a way so as to provide the best career opportunities to the students with the basic qualities of professionalism, humility and content.
