3 year(s), Full TimeThe "Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (IAME)" was established in 2008 at "Aurangabad", a city of Maharashtra State having cultural and historical heritage. IAME functions under Late Lilawati Satish Awhad Education Society and to run the course under Continuing Education Programme (CEP), this institute made MOU with Government Polytechnic Aurangabad (An autonomous Institute of Govt. of Maharashtra).
To meet the growing demand, “Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering” (IAME) was established in the year 2008 at Aurangabad, the city of historical background. IAME is approved by DGCA, ministry of civil Aviation, Govt. of India to impart ab-initio AME training in Mechanical & Avionics streams.
To be a reputed and creditable institute, IAME aims to produce quality Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at a competitive level. IAME develops students by providing an environment for personal growth, opportunities, knowledge, exposure, personal attention and career direction. Our mission is to provide high quality teaching by utilizing new educational and communication technologies, to produce AME’s with wisdom, insight and skills to contribute to the betterment of aviation industry. The Institute has two aeroplanes for training purpose, namely;
(i) Learjet 24 - It is a Pressurized, Heavy, and Passenger Aeroplane complete with engine running condition.
(ii) Zenith CH 2000 - It is a Light Aeroplane.
Well qualified & highly skilled faculty to impart theoretical & practical knowledge to the students.

On completion of AME course and passing the required AME License examinations the students will be absorbed in Aircraft Maintenance organizations or Airlines, such as:
Schedule Air Lines:
Air India, Go Air, Spice Jet, Jet Airways, Alliance Air, etc.
Non Schedule operators:
Deccan Charter Ltd., Blue dart, Air One Aviation Pvt. Ltd., Air charter services Pvt. Ltd., Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd. etc.
Approved Maintenance Organizations:
Airworks, Indamer, Taneja Aerospace & Aviation Ltd (TAAL), Max Aerospace etc.

Admission Process
Initially admission will be offered to those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as per CAR sec-2 Airworthiness series E part VIII Latest and registering there name at the head office IIEIT, Hariom Nagar, Civil Line, Gorakhpur or in institute campus IAME, Near No. 10 boring, Gorakhnath, Gorakhpur office as per there sequence no. Later on there may be entrance test/ interview or merit as required.
If a candidate deserves admission but seats are not vacant then the candidates are advised to reserve their seats for next session by depositing prescribed admission fee in advance to secure their seat. Preference will be given to extraordinary eligible candidates.
In case a student does not receive any information regarding his/her admission, from the institute within 20 days after the date of submission he should clarify from the office on telephone or personally contact the institute office.
Documents Required
Candidate seeking admission to the AME course should send his admission form (prospectus can be downloaded from the website) properly filled in block capital letters with prescribed Fees & following documents are to be attached :
To promote the women education in the field of aviation engineering, the Institute has few seats reserved for the girls who are fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed in the syllabus. 20% seats are reserved for girls and 10% concession in tution fee.
Admission of foreign candidates is subjected to security clearance obtained from D.G.C.A. (Govt. of India) when candidate fulfills all eligibility criteria for the AME course admission.
NRI sponsored candidates seeking admission to the A.M.E. course, should submit sponsorship certificate along with admission form & fees as per D.G.C.A. (Govt. of India) rules.
