There are three channels of admission at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram, candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel.
Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel.
State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel.
Fees & Scholarships :
For general candidates in my point view around they have to pay Rs.-23000 at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram but for sc/st candidates there are no tuition fees.
If you admitted through BS-MS program then you will get around Rs.-5000 through inspiring fellowship program.
Academics & Faculty :
Faculties are from various discipline at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram. The assistant professors at least have a Post Doc. degree from a reputed institute from an Indian or foreign institute.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
SER Thiruvananthapuram Library started functioning from August 2008 to meet the teaching and research needs of the students, research scholars, faculties and staffs of the Institute of Sciences and Mathematics.
IISER-TVM Library possesses books, monographs, conference proceedings etc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science and other interdisciplinary areas. Reference books such as encyclopaedia, dictionaries, laboratory manuals and general reading books are available in the library
