Indian Institute of Science Education and Research or known as IISER is an autonomous science research and education institute which was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2006. It is located in Nadia District, West Bengal. Through the NIT Amendment Act, it got promoted to the new status of the Institute of National Importance. It offers research courses in Science.
The eligibility for the Indian IISER, Kolkata admission is to be passed in 12th with 75 % marks in total. For MS in Space Physics, the eligibility is to have a BE/B.Tech in any engineering field. The admission is done through three channels that are JEE-Advance, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), SCB. Those who scored in JEE-Advance and KVPY will get direct admission through the cut off list produced by both entrance test.

As they follow the NCERT syllabus for XI and XII, the candidate just needs to revise all the topics that are learned in schools and colleges.
They declared the results after a month of the exam.
For BS-MS admission they accept scores of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), JEE-Advanced. They also conducted their IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) for those who applied through the State Central Board channel.
The Total fee for BS-MS and MS in Space Physics is INR 49460. For Integrated Ph.D. the total Fees are INR 49460. And the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata Fee structure for Ph.D. is INR 36510.
