Classrooms: The institute has four classrooms having a capacity to accommodate 60 students. Each classroom is equipped with the latest technology and high-speed internet connectivity. IIM Sambalpur was the first institute to implement the concept of the Flip classroom.
Hostel: There are three hostels inside the campus, two for boys & one for girls. The rooms are properly ventilated and well furnished with a bed, almirah, mattress, study tables and chairs provided to each student. Rooms are equipped on a twin-sharing basis to IIM Sambalpur students. The IIM Sambalpur hostel rooms are cleaned daily. Wi-Fi has been made available, which is accessible from anywhere within the campus premises. A common room is available where students can indulge in recreational activities, like TV and table tennis.
Library: The IIM Sambalpur library contains a good collection of books, e-books, periodicals, journals, project reports, databases & newspapers. It also houses a Bloomberg terminal.
Mess: Within the hostel grounds, there is a student mess. The mess offers a healthy mix of various Indian dishes from different parts of India. In addition, it provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The mess affairs are overseen by a mess committee, which is in charge of overall hygiene and food quality.
