Indian Institute of Art and Design Overview

Established in 2015, the Indian Institute of Art and Design is an independent design school located in South Delhi. The independent design school aspires to challenge the boundaries of creativity by offering its students innovative education approaches that prepare them for careers in communication design, interior architecture and design, fashion design, fashion communication, and fashion business management. Students pursuing UG and PG courses from IIAD also have the option of international transfer. 
Education at IIAD strives to rethink traditional concepts of teaching and learning. IIAD’s learner-centric curriculum and pedagogy are some of the unique propositions of the institute. The courses are taught not in classrooms but in creative studio spaces, specially designed to ensure that the students get extensive practical exposure and hands-on learning within the disciplines. Students also acquire licensed professional tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canvas, Miro, LinkedIn Learning, etc.

IIAD Admission

IIAD admission process starts with filling an online application. What is iMAT?

I haven't done any internship till now because I am still in my second year. The campus placements are good at IIAD and a decent package is offered to students. Companies like Square Board, Netflix, Pero, among many others come for campus placements.

The fee structure is a bit high, but the education and practical learning is great here.

The college offers scholarship to meritorious students.

There is also an option for student loans.

Clubs & Associations

There are plenty of societies like Dance, Drama, Music, etc. that you can join. And also the core council that hosts Remix, the cultural fest every year.

Being on campus is lots of fun. I especially miss playing table tennis in the student lounge after classes.

Quality and method of teaching is good.

Overall, till now, my experience at IIAD is good. I am receiving assistance wherever it is required.

The companies that hire from campus our campus are SquareBoar, Pero, Netflix, Aditya Birla, and many others.

IIAD offers great infrastructure. Students are provided with every essential thing required for their learning, from course-specific labs, design studios, library, to cafeteria, separate hostels for boys and girls, etc. The campus is located in a location where it's very easy for a student to get anything.

Placements & Internships

I haven't done any internship till now, since I am a foundation year student right now. Some of the companies that come for campus placements are Ogilvy & Mather, Aditya Birla, Biba, Netflix, Fab India, and Zee TV among many others. Around 90% of the students got placed in the previous year with a decent package.
