Financial Aid
Preamble:
One of the differentiating features of Ahmedabad University is its adherence to core values and principles. In its Charter it has been made amply clear that while the admission policy of the University will be merit based and means blind, the University will make all efforts to arrange loans and scholarships for the students who have been admitted on merit. The university will provide financial aid to maximum of 25% of its students (undergraduate and graduate) ranging from partial waiver of tuition fees to complete coverage of educational costs progressively.
Policy:

The Ahmedabad University will provide financial aid through grant of Scholarship as well as tie up with Banks for Educational Loans.

To begin with, educational loan arrangements should be made for post-graduation courses like MBA, M.S., MCA, M.E. and M.Tech.

Scholarship should be given in the form of Full / Part fee waiver and should be based on economic situation of the family of the students.

A separate earmarked fund should be created at the University level out of the fee income and/or donations.

While a separate account of such collection will be maintained for review purpose, the disbursement will be made from the common pool of funds.
Guidelines:
The amount of fee waiver should be based on annual income of the family of the student as per the following table:
