Guru Nanak Dev University was founded to commemorate the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The University was later renamed as GNDU Regional Campus, Sathiala on April 2011. The University thrives to provide quality education in various fields like Science, Management, and Technology.

The University tries to boost the standard of people living in the educationally deprived rural areas and is committed to offering job oriented professional courses. The campus is spread across 27 acres of land with many modern amenities. The Guru Nanak Dev University Admission is open for the various courses in Management, Science, and Technology fields. For the B.Tech course, 3% of seats are reserved for residents of the villages Sathiala, Gagarbhana, and Bedadpur.

The campus is a perfect blend of academic, curricular, and co-curricular activities where students and teachers interact to uplift the standards of education. GNDU Engineering:

The GNDU, Sathiala offers Engineering courses in the Undergraduate, Each course is divided into different departments. Departments in Engineering are mentioned below:

GNDU Computer Applications:

The GNDU, Sathiala offers three years Postgraduate MCA degree in Computer Applications. GNDU offers only 60 seats for admission to this course. For this course, any Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks can apply for admission with Mathematics as an elective subject at 10+2 level.

GNDU Business:

The GNDU, Sathiala offers two years Postgraduate MBA degree in finance, marketing, and human resource. Group work, individual & group presentations, and case studies are done to the development of social competence on the part of the students. In addition, guest lectures by the expertise and excursions done to strengthen the practical experience of their students.

Guru Nanak Dev University Fees: 

The GNDU, Sathiala offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate in Engineering, Computer Applications, and Business disciplines in their University. The fee structure for each course is mentioned below:

• For B.Tech and MBA courses, the fee structure is INR 56650 in 1st semester and INR 40250 in 2nd semester.
• For the MCA course, the fee structure is INR 57650 in 1st semester and INR 40250 in 2nd semester.

Guru Nanak Dev University Infrastructure Facilities:

The GNDU, Sathiala has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 people used for educational and cultural activities. The auditorium is well equipped with multimedia projectors, big screens, podiums, and audio-video aids for presentations. The administrative block has the reception area with a large and spacious sitting area, director’s office, accounts office, air-conditioned meeting hall with sophisticated multimedia facilities. There are various labs like Chemistry, CSE, Engineering Drawing, ECE, and Physics Lab with all modern equipment. There is also a lecture theater with ultra-modern furniture, multimedia projectors, big screens, and whiteboards having seating for about 150 people. The library has more than 5000 text and reference books along with a large number of National/ International journals, newspapers, and magazines. There are also other facilities like a cafeteria, mess, meeting hall, transport, bank, and gymnasium.

Guru Nanak Dev University Admissions:

The University conducts exams for the intake of students for the various offered courses. The admission applications are available online on the university website and also in the University office. The admissions will be based on merit in the qualifying exams. For the B.Tech course, 3% of seats are reserved for residents of the villages Sathiala, Gagarbhana, and Bedadpur.

Guru Nanak Dev University Hostel Details:

The GNDU, Sathiala has hostel facilities for boys and girls with many amenities. The boy's hostel is equipped with a furnished room, reading room, and mess. There are also facilities like TV, newspapers, Indoor games like Carrom Board and Chess are available. The girl's hostel has about 68 rooms which are spacious, well ventilated, illuminated, air-cooled & well furnished. There is 24-hour power back up and Wi-Fi connectivity and have facilities to play games like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, etc.  The Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Sathiala Facilities have modern amenities for the students to have a good atmosphere to study.
