Gulbarga University has an excellent infrastructure and provides many facilities to the students at the campus. The main campus is situated 6km east of Gulbarga city. The university is spread on 960 acres. More details regarding the Gulbarga University infrastructure are given below.

Computer Centre: Gulbarga University has a computer centre to meet the needs of administrative sections and other departments. It provides training to students from the Arts and Social Science departments. The centre also offers internet and website access to all parties involved.

Library: The Gulbarga University library provides excellent Internet access, access to UGC Infonet e-journals, online databases, e-books, learning courseware, and institutional publications. It has VLRC&DL 100 workstations, three mainframe DELL servers, a CD NAS server with a carpet area of 12,420 square feet and a single GBPS leased line.

Guest House: The guest house consists of two separate structures. There are four suites, four double rooms, eight single rooms in Kailasabhavan guest house, and forty-eight single rooms at Silver Jubilee guest house, with attached facilities. The guest house also features catering services, including a kitchen and a well-equipped dining room.

Health Centre: Two medical officers, one lady medical officer, one nurse, two technicians, one pharmacist, and various support staff work at the health centre of Gulbarga University. It has ECG and X-Ray scanners, among other things. A free medical service is available to workers and students as part of its community outreach. Patients with critical illnesses are referred to many prominent authorised hospitals across the country, and the university reimburses eligible medical expenditures for advanced treatment and surgeries. 

Sports: The Physical Education department includes well-trained professionals, trainers, and teachers to assist the enthusiastic athletes. It has been created as an excellent indoor stadium with four courts and a well-equipped gymnasium with 1750 spectators in the gallery. The university also possesses an outdoor stadium with a 400-meter track for various events. The university built a football field, two hockey fields, two volleyball courts, kho-kho, kabaddi, basketball courts, badminton, tennis courts, two cricket grounds, and four table tennis courts. In addition, modern gymnasium facilities are available for students and faculty. Inter-university, state, regional, national, and international sports and games are held at the university.

Hostel: The women hostel provides housing for female research scholars. Working women hostels are constructed in Raichur, Bellary, and Sandur to provide housing for all female students in those centres. The Gulbarga University hostel is equipped with lodging, indoor games, newspaper, magazines, reading rooms, visitors rooms, and dining halls to ensure that all students in all hostels have a comfortable stay. Doctors, medical facilities, and transportation are also available in an emergency.
