Greater College of Education admission is open to Bachelor of Education program. B.Ed is a full-time/ regular course with a duration of 2-years. The mode of education is in the English language. The final admission is made based on qualifying merit and other academic preferences.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility for B.Ed admission is graduation in any stream from a recognized board. However, Greater College of Education admission to B.Ed program is made based on combined merit including a valid scorecard in the education common entrance test.

• For admission through Ed.CET 2024, the applicant must have passed or appeared in final year examinations of BA/ B.Sc/ B.Sc (Home Science)/ B.Com/ BCA/ BBM/ BBA or Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
• BE/ B.Tech graduates with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have obtained at least 55% marks or equivalent.
• The applicants belonging to reserved categories (SC/ ST/ BC) and physically handicapped shall have obtained a minimum of 40% score in the qualifying examination.
• The applicants who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also eligible for admission through TS Ed.CET-2024.

Note: As per the GO MS No:13 dated. 27/ 5/ 2017, the applicants having MBBS/ B.Pharm/ BHMT/ B.Sc (AG)/ BVSC and LLB are not eligible for B.Ed admission.
