Hostel

Our college has its own hostel which is located in a ecofriendly environment . we own several rooms with various amenities to provide privacy and home like living round the clock basis facility provided are like water , electricity , food, entertainment ,medical facility ,telephone connectivity, security etc . the campus hostel is surrounded by lush green lawns and play grounds .

1) Accomdation:

The hostel provides accomdation for 200 students , 100 each for boys and girls . all the rooms are well furnished with ceiling fan , wardrobe , table , chair, & bed for each student .

2) Mess & Dinning hall :

The mess is managed by a contractual agency recommended and approved by the hostel committee .meal times are as follows

Breakfast 7am to 8am
Lunch
9:30 am to 10:30 am
Dinner
7 pm to 8 pm

3) Reading Room :

The hostel has reading room where internet facilities for its inmates .various sports events are organized time to time in order to ensure physical fitness for its future professionals.

4) Gymnasium :

The hostellers are provided with a well equipped gymnasium . yoga and meditation classes are held on a daily basis

5) Security:

Each of the hostels is managed and looked after by a dedicated warden and supervised by the guards all the time.

LIBRARY

Government Engineering College has a main library which is extremely rich in resources for learning, research and general awareness. All the latest information in terms of text & reference books, periodicals, magazines and journals has been procured for intellectual nourishment. The collection of books in the library covers almost all the core areas of engineering branches, Applied Science, Humanities and Professional English Language. The library also provides a calm environment which effectively supports learning. According to the requirements in each semester, the college book bank facility provides the requisite books to all the students. 

GYMNASIUM :-

We believe that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body therefore the college provides a gym which is well equipped with latest instrument and machines. It is the constant endeavor of the institute to see that the students grow intellectually and physically.  Students sweat out  here regularly in order to develop the all-round personality of the students, the institute gives equal importance to both curricular and extra-curricular activities. The gymkhana remains open in morning as well as evening. Students can join the gym according to their comfort.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

As the students stay away from their parents, health is a major issue for them, as they cannot afford to fall sick without any proper care. To overcome this problem, the college provides medical facilities to students. The college has a dispensary with a qualified doctor who provides medical aid to the students
