Library:
Library has a sufficient collection of books covering the entire spectrum of course. Enriching the library is an on going process which requires financial assistance that is provided by state government annually.  Books and other printed material can be obtained from library under different schemes for a definite period.

Reading Room:
Separate arrangements of reading room exist in the college for boys and girls. Newspapers and magazines in Hindi and English are subscribed in the reading room. Students are expected to make use of the reading room facility in their spare time.  

Research and Consultancy:
Research is a significant activity of the college and that is being promoted by PG students doing project work especially in the department of Physics, Chemistry, Hindi, Economics, Sociology, Commerce and Political Science. Out of 69 working teachers 50 are having PhD degree and rest are engaged in research activities to obtain PhD. Many teachers have published their research papers in esteemed national and foreign journals. Fifty-one students are engaged in research work under able guidance of teachers in various PG departments. College also provides financial support to research students under the scheme of Directorate of Higher Education. As a result there is a conducive atmosphere for doctoral research, which has produced 25 PhD awards by the Kumaon University Nainital in the last five years. Research and consultancy is strengthened further by the frequent participation of faculty members in various academic activities such as seminar, symposium and workshop as well as oriented refresher courses along with the collage boost a healthy traditional of organizing seminar.

Sports:
Student of Govt. Degree College, Bazpur take active participation in sports activities including local level tournaments and Inter-collegiate Tournament organized by Kumaun University. College team participate in the following inter college Tournaments of Kumaun University.

Annual games are organised in the college. selected student further  plays intercollege and inter University Sports events every year. Annual games and sports functions are organised in the College. Degree College Bazpur had a large Playground for Outdoor games. A sportsperson may participate in up to three competitions. The best sportsperson is nominated champion.

NCC (National Cadet Corps):
National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organisation , comprising Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. Various annual activities like Annual Training Camp. Combined Annual Training Camp. Army Attachment Camp “B” and “C” Certificate examination and routine activates are organized throughout the year.

N.S.S (National Service Scheme):
The motto of the National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) is the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole. Presently we are having six units each of hundred, three each of boys and girls. Students participate enthusiastically in various activities like:

• Awakening of rural and local people regarding environmental issues.
• Conducting surveys in various important social burning issues.
• Issues concerning health, mother and child health, family planning.

Cultural Association:
For the all round development of the learners an elected cultural association along with various departmental association regularly organize various co – curricular cultural competitions and activities in the collage that has ushered a cognisalte atmosphere of the creativity.

Railway Concession:
Facility of railway concession is available for students taking journey during college holidays to their permanent address entered in their admission application forms.
