Admission is based on the MHT-CET exam score followed by the CAP round.
Cultural programmes are much effective in college
Many associations come together and celebrate main festivals
Hostel are allowed as merit list
And hostel fee is taken semester wise
labs are not that good not every pc work
We have regular college which is effective But faculty for our branch is not that good and their teaching is also not good.
For open category fees is very high that is 75000 which is very high
Last year students from last year got selected in tcs and they got avg package of 3.5 and 4 LPA
I'd given MH-CET and JEE entrance exam for admission and I belong to open category so for me cut off was above 102 out off 200 in MHCET
College general life like other colleges little boring but we enjoyed a lot in college tech, sports etc Non any association in college basically not required.
The boys and girls hostel is available on the college campus but minimum intake based on category and marks.
Quality of classroom is good,
The college has a big conference room for meeting for discussion on college activities and development etc College have wifi facilities too.
The Course fee in Government College of Engineering, [GCE] is INR 25000 per annum.
I was admitted in college through campus around which has cut off 81%.
Not an entrance exam required for admission.
All kind of sports is played here. Everything is available though we don't have well-maintained playgrounds we manage at other campuses near to our campus. Lots of student societies, clubs are associated and some of them are in college management bodies too. The main festival is TECHNOARENA (Technical Event), JALLOH(cultural event) and YUVARANG ( Cultural if a university) and all departments also arrange their own Departmental Technical events separately. Overall life is Good but a problem in PLACEMENTS for some branch due to their new arrivals.
2 boys hostels, 2 girls hostels at very less cost. Outside college rents are affordable like Rs 1500(INR) for the room per month and Rs 1500(INR) P.A. for the mess on an average.
Classes are good, availability of labs and types of equipment. Teaching is also good overall.
Due to autonomy fee structure is higher as compared to normal government colleges. Fees structure in 2014 was OPEN Rs 56,000.00(INR), OBC Rs 26,000.00(INR), SC/ST Rs.60.00(INR) only.
I had done virtual interns and that was on my own. Placement was poor at the time of admission but now improved a lot 4,5 companies for CORE branches and rest goes to the open campus in the same city. Alumni network is strong for old branches and weak for new branches.
I had given JEE MAIN, Criteria for admission was through DTE CAP with COMPOSITE SCORE of JEE MAIN AND PCM group with 50% contribution of each. Open 90-95, OBC 85-90, SC/ST 70 approx. But now the process has changed College accepts MHCET score out of 200 Open 140<OBC<120< SC/ST 75.
