Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh is also known as (GCCBA) Chandigarh is a constituent college of the Panjab University, located in Chandigarh, India. It is an initiative of the Chandigarh Administration. GCCBA was established with a view to cater to the growing demand for commerce and management education in Chandigarh. Since its inception, the college is co-educational. The Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA) is the only college in Chandigarh that deals exclusively with the streams of commerce and management. Approval to start the college was granted by General (Retired) Sunith Francis Rodrigues, the then Governor of Punjab, and Administrator, UT Chandigarh in September 2006. The three years Bachelor’s program conducted by the University is a full-time, on-campus-based course. The entrance for the same is Merit-based.

B.Com Eligibility Criteria 

• Government College of Commerce and Business administration eligibility requires the candidates to clear class 10+2 examination or B.Com- Part-I (Old Scheme) of Panjab University with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
• Or B.Sc.-I/Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical Examination of Panjab University (Old Scheme) with minimum 50% marks.

B.Com Selection Process 

Merit as per marks secured in the last qualifying examination and counselling.

BBA Eligibility Criteria

Government College of Commerce and Business administration eligibility requires the candidate to clear class 10+2 examination in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks and pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at class 10th level.

BCA Selection Process 

Merit as per marks secured in the last qualifying examination and counselling. The preference will be given to students who have studied Mathematics/Statistics and Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology or equivalent.

M.Com Eligibility Criteria 

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or B.Com (H) or Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Commerce and with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
