GITAM School of Law Admission

GITAM School of Law offers 5-years of honours courses namely BBA LLB, BA LLB along with one year of LLM and PhD in the field of law. The admission to the institute is entrance-based/ merit-based.

GITAM School of Law Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be able to apply for a course. Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria of the major courses offered by the colleges.

GITAM School of Law BA+LLB Eligibility

• For being eligible for admission to BA LLB {Hons} program in the institute, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ ST and persons with disability).

GITAM School of Law LLM Eligibility

The candidate should have passed graduation in law (LLB/ BA LLB / BBA LLB / B.Sc LLB/ B.Com LLB) from any recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ ST and persons with disability).

Selection is based on the performance in the qualifying examination, i.e, LSAT or CLAT.

GITAM School of Law PhD Eligibility

• LLM Degree (Regular mode) from a recognized University in any discipline and bachelor's Degree in Law (Regular mode) from a recognized university.
• Degree in Law and Master's Degree in Law Considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian institution or from a foreign educational institution accredited as per UGC regulations.
• Judge of any State High Court in India with three years or Judge of Supreme Court of India and Members of tribunals.
