Admission Procedure for Forest Research Institute,[FRI] Dehradun

  • The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/teacher fellowship holder or GATE will be allowed to appear for the interview directly without appearing in the written entrance test and are subjected to securing 50 normalized marks out of 100 in case of General candidates and 45 normalized marks out of 100 in case of SC/ST/OBC or differently-abled candidates.
  • Application for the Ph.D. degree in Forestry is to be made to the Registrar FRI or through Nodal Officers of the recognized centers of the FRI on the prescribed form as given in the website along with the prescribed fees.
